Left Handed Pirate Flintlock Pistol – 18th Century
The piece itself is entirely made from Wood with the barrel and forniments in burnished cast metal.
It is designed for use left handed with the firing mechanism on the left hand side. Ideal for left handers also for right handers who want to fight with sword and pistol or with a brace of pistols as the mechanism won’t foul in a belt when drawn left handed.
At 38cm in length, this is a life-sized reproduction derringer and feels satisfyingly weighty to hold. Even though the pistol has been made from materials that cannot be used in real firearms, the firing mechanism still produces a satisfying “click” when the trigger is pulled. This piece would therefore be perfect for re-enactments, tv or stage performances.
This is just one in our collection of iconic Flintlock replica pistols.
